We're Hiring! Welcome Team

We currently want to hire two enthusiastic, warm and cheerful ‘Welcome Team’ members to join our staff team for 3 months.

At Rua Red we actively encourage people from all walks of life to join us as we grow our team. These are immediate vacancies with the first position starting on 1 July and second on 10 July.

Full-time (30-35 hours per week)

Rua Red is a busy, vibrant, multidisciplinary space with over 4,000 people passing through our doors and engaging with our programmes and facilities every week. We require two highly motivated & enthusiastic individuals who have a genuine passion for people and culture to join us. The Welcome Team are responsible for actively meeting and greeting people as they enter Rua Red and will set the tone for each individual’s experience of the organisation.

Previous experience not essential as training will be provided but strong organisational and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to prioritise tasks, work in a busy environment and within a team.

The Role:

The Welcome team at Rua Red are the public face of the organisation and will be the first human interaction and encounter that people have when entering the building. A warm welcome is imperative and clear, respectful communication is essential.

The Welcome team will be responsible for:

· Receiving phone calls and communicating information

· Responding to email enquiries

· Taking room bookings which involves equipment requirements and catering needs,

· Meeting and greeting people into the building every day and showing them to their rooms

· Making sure rooms are set up, have been cleaned and have all the appropriate and correct equipment in place

· Attending and minuting Staff meetings

Essential Criteria:

· Work well under pressure, with strong attention to detail and good at multi-tasking.

· Answer all incoming calls in a professional and timely manner

· Have Excellent Communications Skills

· Be a Team player with attention to details and an ability to work on own initiative if required

· Have a good understanding of of MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
