Gallery Invigilators Required

Rua Red are looking for volunteer invigilators for our new Exhibition HOW TO SAY IT THE WAY IT IS! curated by Franko B.

We require people with a passion for art to join our small team for 4 hours a day Monday to Saturday from Monday 9th October to Saturday 2nd December.

Rua Red will provide a small weekly allowance of circa €120* for travel & subsistence.

Invigilation information

Exhibition: HOW TO SAY IT THE WAY IT IS! – Curated by Franko B

Dates: Monday 9th October – Saturday 2nd December 2017

Shifts: 10am-2pm Monday – Saturday & 2pm-6pm Monday – Saturday

Duties:

  • Act as a key interface between the Gallery and the public. Liaise with Rua Red staff, the Education & Outreach Executive, Artists and Practitioners to be able to provide information to visitors about the exhibition, the artists and their work.
  • Ensure the condition of the artwork is maintained during the course of the exhibition and complete regular condition reports.
  • Provide visitor feedback to staff highlighting visitor responses.
  • Support Security and Health and Safety procedures and adhere to policies relevant to those functions.
