EDUCATION

EDUCATION PROGRAMME
RUA
RED’s education program creates innovative and accessible education activities and projects for diverse audiences. The education program aims to encourage discussion about, and engagement with the arts, enabling a variety of groups and individuals to experience high quality arts events, performances and exhibitions, facilitated by local, national and international artists, academics, writers and speakers.

COURSES AND WORKSHOPS
RUA
RED offers courses and workshops to try out specific processes using a variety of artforms. Groups and individuals can choose from a fantastic range, led by friendly, experienced and supportive tutors. All our courses are designed for beginners unless otherwise stated. For information on what’s on offer please refer to our What's On section.

SCHOOLS PROGRAMME

RUA
RED can provide opportunities for schools through special events and workshops to allow children to explore, create and take advantage of the centre as a resource for stimulating learning. For more information on our current School’s Program, our changing program of exhibitions and performances, or to arrange a school visit please contact opportunities@ruared.ie or call 01 451 5860.

GALLERY TOURS

RUA
RED can provide short tours for a wide range of groups including: primary schools, secondary schools, youth groups, universities and further education providers, adult community groups, over 60’s and groups with additional support needs.

Group visits must be booked at least two weeks in advance. Guided tours can be provided for various sizes of groups of between 6 and 30.

Occasionally, the maximum group size is revised due to the nature and layout of the exhibition and this will be discussed with you at the time of booking. Tours are always tailored to meet the needs, age, range and interests of the group. We are happy to discuss the exhibition content beforehand to ensure your group gets the most from their visit. Group leaders are expected to stay with the group throughout the duration of
the visit and are responsible for behaviour management.

If you have any questions or would like to book a course or arrange a tour please ask our friendly staff, or call us on 01 451 5860 or email opportunities@ruared.ie
