During this week-long summer art project, 24 July - 28 July, Fernanda Ferrari will introduce children to a range of art materials and experiences related to the new Dandelion Clock Sculptures created by Remco De Fouw for the National Children’s Hospital at Tallaght Hospital.

These beautiful sculptures contain a number of prisms that create rainbows! This magical process will be the beginning of a creative journey for children to explore techniques to stimulate their imaginations, explore their creativity and link them to a piece of public art in their community.

Fernanda Ferrari is an award-winning visual storyteller, performer, and puppeteer who loves to create stories and images that awaken the inner child inside each of us. In Ireland, she was awarded bursaries by the Arts Council and the South Dublin County Council to research and develop original projects for young audiences. One of them is an immersive installation for children and their families, mixing puppetry and cutting-edge AR technology, supported by the YPCE Arts Council Bursary Awards and The Civic through the Ready, Steady, Show! Digital commission. Currently, she is collaborating with Mother Tongues and Early Childhood Ireland in a pilot project supported by the Toy Show Appeal.
