Adult musicians having fun playing and performing together!
"Why Should the young have all the fun?"
Sounds Ensemble provides an opportunity for adults, to learn, play and perform, popular and classical music together, in a relaxed and fun environment. Each Wednesday, 'Sounds' meet in the Performance Space in Rua Red, 7.30pm to 9.15pm. Our music covers a wide range, including Disney Film scores, Broadway Shows, songs from Queen, the Beatles etc. and light classical pieces. This opportunity is for everyone, including beginners, especially those who may not have had the opportunity to study and play music in their younger years, but would love to give it a go. It is never too late to learn, so do not convince yourself otherwise. Take that instrument out of the attic, blow the dust off and come join us, or we might be able to loan you one. Just come along any Wednesday evening and sit in with us. The personnel in the band will make you feel quite comfortable. Remember, it's not what you can do now, but what you will be able to do down the line. Enthusiasm and commitment are all that is required. Don't be shy, give it a try!
