Resonate with Nature | The Soft Space
Family Events
- 22 Sep
- 12pm - 1pm
- All Welcome
- Free
Facilitated by Rua Red's dancer-in-residence, Karen Aguiar in collaboration with Sam Noonan, a performance artist, community connector, folk herbalist, and sociologist.
In this workshop, we want to invite everyone into a space to resonate with nature. We will all contribute to the group work, have some time to express why we made our choices, and reflect on the overall story of the art installation created. This workshop will help us recognise what is around us, allow our inspiration to flow, and nurture our relationship with the natural world. These opportunities are always there, but this workshop will provide some tools and techniques to empower this lifelong journey.
We will have a range of herbs, plants, and materials, but feel free to bring any natural material such as sticks, bark, pebbles, shells, pine cones, wooden pieces, or whatever else you find and like from home or surroundings to join our installation!
The Soft Space is Commissioned by South Dublin County Council (SDCC) and curated and produced by SDCC and NOISE Music with SoFFt Productions. This event is funded by SDCC and The Arts Council of Ireland.
