UNWRAPPED
Unwrapped is a performance in two parts with both open-air and indoor performances and events. Through a specially made landscape of images, music, performance and dance, it celebrates work created by local artists and groups of all ages. Unwrapped marks the lighting of the Tallaght Christmas Tree by Mayor Eamonn Maloney.

3.30pm Children’s Book Festival Competition Prize Giving Ceremony
with Mayor Eamonn Maloney and special guests.
County Library, Tallaght - Admission Free

4pm The Conor Lambert Custard Pie Puppet Theatre Family Christmas Show - featuring Frosty the Snowman, Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer and other surprise guests! The show is live and interactive with all the sing-a-long favourites and plenty of laughter and giggles!
County Library, Tallaght - Admission Free

5pm Unwrapped Outdoor Performance
Follow us outside through a specially made landscape created by artist Maeve Clancy, choreographer Louise Costelloe and musicians Michael Fleming and Gerry Horan. Featuring young dancers from 5th class in St.
Colmcille’s SNS, Knocklyon. Supported by Tallaght Community Arts and South Dublin County Council’s Arts Office. Join Mayor Eamonn Maloney for the lighting of the Tallaght Christmas Tree.

6:30pm Unwrapped Indoor Performance
Join us for special performances of song, dance, music and magic in RUA RED’s Gallery One, including piper Martin Nolan; singer Phil Callery; music and dance of Gandarbha from Nepal; the Tallaght Community School Gamelan Ensemble with Niamh Tiernan; Killinarden Community School Mandolin Ensemble with James Ryan; Animotion Dance Company; Dizzy Footwork Dance Academy; Unison Intercultural Choir, Clondalkin; Sounds Ensemble; plus magic by Brian Daly with Carousel Theatre School, Tallaght Youth Theatre, Encore Performance Group and St. Kilian’s Junior Choir, Kingswood.

8pm Dublin Gospel Choir 'Doing Their Thing'
Not too many acts can boast of collaborations with music industry heavyweights such as Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, Jon Legend, Damien Rice and 'The Chieftans'. The Dublin Gospel Choir started as a school choir and moved on to amazing heights. Don't miss this incredible performance!
