A unique and thought provoking installation by artist, Gary Somers.

Gary says, "Tibetan people risk their lives to speak out against the Chinese Communist party line. No outside 'interference' is tolerated by China. Options are limited and opportunities are few."

"To tell your story and to be listened to makes experiences real and can bring closure. China has used, and continues to use propaganda as a means of thought control."

This work attempts to mirror the role of propaganda - to disseminate facts in an uncomplicated way. However these are real stories conveying real experiences. The stories were recorded over a 4 month period in Dharamsala, India.

There is a chinese proverb that says "Everyone Pushes a Falling Fence." Could it still be true today?
