Our Mac Lab is the ideal place to work on your digital projects!
The lab is equipped to a high standard. You will be working on one of our 9 Mac G5 Towers with a selection of other hardware and software including:
Scanners
Kodak iQsmart scanner
Epson Expression 10000XL scanner. (MAX A3)
Hasselblad Flextight
Printers
Epson Stylus Pro 3800 (MAX A2)
Epson Stylus Photo R2880 (MAX A3)

Hiring a station is only €2.50 per hour (with discounts for longer bookings)
Session (4 hours) - €9
Full Day (8 hours) - €18
Week (40 hours) - €40
Use of the Hasselblad scanner incurs a flat fee of €5 per session.
Printing charges:
HP Laser Jet printing costs: A4 €0.10
Epson Stylus Prints: A4 €1 / A3 €2 / A2 €4
The media lab is open from 10am - 9.30pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 6pm on Saturdays. It is advisable to book in advance as the room or stations may not always be available.

In order to hire a station in the mac lab you need to be a member.
Becoming a member of RUA RED is easy to do.
Simply download and fill in the document below and hand it into the centre. You will then be issued with a membership card and you'll be able to start booking space!
(Membership also entitles you to book music rooms for rehearsal)
