RADIO TALLAGHT 'EXPANDING MINDS' IN JUNE

RADIO TALLAGHT, the community radio station project created by Tallaght Community Arts (TCA) and Tallaght Radio Forum returns to our airwaves for its third broadcast of 2009 on June 20 and 21, 2009.    The theme for this second weekend broadcast is EXPANDING MINDS.

Radio Tallaght’s  Cooking with Jimmy  on Sunday 21st from 12:00 – 12:30 is hosted by Jimmy Dunne, Chef and owner of The Interval Bistro .  Jimmy will teach Amadine Sediq, a young women who has just moved out from her parent’s home and is trying to keep healthy and avoid the pizza diet!   In Cooking with Jimmy, Amadine will be taught how to prepare a three course meal for her parents. Using local and seasonal ingredients sourced from the Tallaght Farmer’s Market, Jimmy will take you through preparing a simple and delicious family meal - a  guaranteed successful dinner party even for the novice cook!

Radio Tallaght broadcasts from the new South Dublin Arts Centre and features programmes created and presented by people from the many diverse communities of Tallaght, many sitting behind a microphone for the first time.

Radio Tallaght will broadcast on 99.1FM, from 11am to 6pm, on the following dates:
June 20 and 21 // September 19 and 20  // October 17 and 18 // December 19 and 20
