|RUA RED opened its doors on the 5th February this year (2009) with a weekend of free events for the public. We had such a great time welcoming over 500 people into the building - we hope you were there!
I'm sure I speak for all the staff when I say how proud we are of the building. We hope that the South Dublin community (and beyond) will embrace RUA RED as a real beacon for the arts. The gallery spaces are awe inspiring, the dance studio makes you want to pirouette(!) and the performance space a wonderfully intimate venue for live music and performance.
To let you know what its like to be a part of RUA RED we have decided to keep this blog. Staff will regularly be updating you with stories of our daily tasks, snippets of info and the weird and wonderful things which occur on a daily basis!
In the meantime, please browse through the site, or come in to see the 'Housewarming' exhibition which runs until the 21st March. (More info can be found here)
