FOCUS ON TIBET DURING AUGUST
It all happened by accident. During a visit to the NCAD graduate show we came across Gary Somers axhibit 'One World Many Dreams'. We liked it so much that we asked if we could exhibit it in Gallery 2 - to which he agreed. As the contracts were being signed we had an enquiry from the Tibeten Community in Ireland looking to screen films which highlighted the stories of Tibetans living inside and outside of Tibet. It seemed like perfect timing. And so here we are. While we are not intending to thrust any particular political leaning on our audience, we do think that all the work about to be shown is valuable, heartwarming, heartbreaking and incredibly human. The exhibition and films are free, so whether you have ten minutes or two hours, we invite you to come and see not just some powerful work, but some incredible art.
