FILM FESTIVAL
NOISE Flicks Film Festival 2012
NOISE Flicks showcases the filmmaking talent of young people working, studying or living in South Dublin County ages 14-18.
NOISE Flicks hosts an amazing Short Film and Scriptwriting for film competitions for young filmmakers
Friday 23rd March 7.30pm
Awards ceremony and screening of shortlisted films in RUA RED, followed by a talk with Emmy nominated sound artists Caoimhe Doyle, Jean Mc Grath and Sheila De Courcy and a screening of the film made by last year’s scriptwriting winner, Shane Coules. €2 per ticket.
(Sheila De Courcy is in charge of commissioning animation and live action for young people for RTÉ).
Saturday 24th March
NOISE has 3 great workshops on offer:
- Acting with Hugh O’Conor,
- Sound FX with Caoimhe Doyle and Jean Mc Grath
- DIY greenscreen workshop with previous festival winners.
All workshops take place from 11am – 4pm and cost €5 (including lunch)
