HOUSEWARMING EXHIBITION EXTENDED
RUA RED - South Dublin Arts Centre, is pleased to announce the extension of its inaugural exhibition Housewarming to May 2nd 2009. The cutting edge arts centre, which was opened on 5th February thisyear is the newest addition to Tallaght's cultural quarter.

The exhibition, curated by Ruairí Ó Cuív and Clíodhna Shaffrey, features work by Jesse Jones, John Jones,
Vera Klute, Clare Langan, Sean Lynch, Bea McMahon, Liam O'Callaghan and Beth O'Halloran.
Housewarming brings together eight artists whose practice demonstrates different approaches to art making. The combination of artists working in different media, subject matter, scales and conceptsmarks a plurality of approaches that celebrates the possibilities of these new gallery spaces. The artists also epitomize the strength and vibrancy of visual arts in Ireland, now being recognized in international circles.
"The sheer scale of the galleries is breathtaking," says Karen Phillips, Director of RUA RED. "Housewarming really highlights the variety of work which we can receive, and sets a high standard for future exhibitions. We are delighted to be able to extend Housewarming, and give both the pubic and artists the chance to experience the exhibition."
Housewarming is open to the public between 10am and 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday until May 2nd 2009.
Entry is free.
