'Bringing Dreams to Life'- Engineers Week 2013 

For the fifth year in succession, South Dublin County Council will play host to over a thousand local schoolchildren during 'National Engineers Week'. The aim of the week is to create a positive awareness and spark enthusiasm about the engineering profession to people of all ages. Volunteer engineers from the Council's Roads, Water and Environmental Services Departments will organise workshops and entertainment to encourage our local children to consider engineering as a rewarding and interesting career option.

This year, SDCC welcomes the participation of Engineers Ireland, the Institute of Technology Tallaght, and local engineering consultants Vilicom and PM Group in hosting this year's events, which will cater for 1600 primary and secondary students from South Dublin County.
