Dear Friends,

Today has been a pretty crazy day at RUA RED. Works going out, work coming in, new bookings, equipment being moved around, tours given, visitors greeted... actually its getting to be like this nearly every day! And we really do enjoy it.

I took a quick break and popped into Gallery 1 to see Paul Hickey from SODIUM and see how they were getting settled in. Most of the work has arrived now and they're busy laying it out and getting ready for the big hang.

We only have a week between most shows, which generally allows one and a half to two days for the last show to get out, and three days for the new one to get in. It can be pretty tight, especially as the walls need repaired in between as well!! Hugh, our technician, runs a pretty tight ship (and he's a bit of a genius) so we never have a panic on our hands.

The SODIUM exhibition 'Regaining Consciousness' opens to the public on Monday 8th - but if you can't wait, they are holding a preview on Saturday 6th between 3pm and 5pm.
